Saravanan VK

With over 30 years of experience, Saravanan is a seasoned Art Director and Designer. He holds a Master’s in Visual Communication and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the prestigious College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum.

His career spans leading agencies such as Anthem/TBWA–New Delhi, Mudra Communications, and BBDO Worldwide, Dubai.

A passionate creative force, his poster artwork has received international acclaim at the International Poster Art Biennale in South Korea, where he was officially shortlisted in both 2021 and 2025. His work was also published in the Biennale’s 2021 annual collection, featuring outstanding poster art from around the world.

Nationally, he has won multiple Pepper Creative Awards in 2018, 2019, and five more in 2025, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze across national and Kerala categories. He is also a recipient of the Kerala Environment Poster Award, reflecting his socially conscious design approach.

Beyond his professional work, Saravanan’s passion for visual art and photography is reflected in his active participation in the Kerala Lalithakala Academy’s Annual Art and Photographic Exhibitions (2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2018), reinforcing his presence as a multidisciplinary creative professional.
